What happens to your information.
This policy covers tcloudlabs.com. If you become a client, the information we hold for your engagement is governed by the agreement we sign with you, not by this policy.
Who we are
This site is operated by Tinker Cloud Technologies, a business name registered in Nigeria, trading as Tinker Cloud Labs. You can reach us about anything in this policy at [email protected].
What we collect
Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request information when you load a page: IP address, browser and device type, the page you requested, and a timestamp. This is operational data used to serve the site and detect abuse. We do not sell it or combine it with other sources.
Google Analytics 4. We use Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC), Measurement ID G-CDSZ6L7S7C, on the main Tinker Cloud Labs website. We use its Advanced Consent Mode with analytics cookies disabled by default. The tag loads on page visits and may send cookieless signals to Google even when you have not opted into analytics cookies, including page visits and interactions. Those signals may include technical request information such as browser details, timestamps, referrer and approximate location. Cookieless does not mean Google receives no data, nor does it guarantee completely anonymous reporting. Google may use these signals for modeled measurement rather than displaying exact per-event counts.
If you explicitly enable analytics cookies in the Analytics cookie settings section of this Privacy page, Google Analytics can store first-party analytics cookies and provide more detailed reporting. Your choice is saved locally in your browser. You can withdraw consent through that same section at any time; we will stop further analytics cookie storage and attempt to clear our site’s GA cookies.
We use Google Analytics to understand traffic, popular pages, referral sources and clicks on WhatsApp, email, bookings, package enquiries and portfolio examples. Our custom events do not contain phone numbers, email addresses or the text of enquiries. This implementation does not enable Google Ads remarketing or advertising personalization.
Contact form. If we add a form to this site, it will collect only what you type into it (typically name, email, and message). We use that information to reply to you and keep it for as long as the conversation is active, plus a short period for our own records.
Calendly. When you book a call through our scheduling link, you are interacting with Calendly, not with this site. Whatever you enter on Calendly is processed by Calendly under its own privacy policy. We see the booking details Calendly forwards to us, such as your name, email, time slot, and anything you wrote in the form.
We keep advertising-related storage, user-data and personalization consent denied. GA4 is the only website analytics provider we have integrated.
How we use it
To answer your questions, hold the calls you book, understand how the site is being used, keep the site working, and meet legal obligations when they apply. That is it.
Who else sees it
We use providers for hosting, email responses and scheduling, and Google LLC for site measurement. Analytics signals may be processed on Google’s systems even when analytics cookies are disabled. We do not sell your information or enable advertising personalization with this implementation.
Where the data goes
Some of these processors operate outside Nigeria. By using this site or contacting us, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in other countries. We choose providers who maintain reasonable security and privacy standards.
How long we keep it
Server logs are retained according to the hosting provider’s operational policy. Google Analytics data retention depends on the settings of our GA4 property. Cookieless data is handled according to Google’s consent mode processing and modeling policies. Emails and call notes are kept for business correspondence and follow-up as needed. You can ask us about access, correction, or deletion of personal data using the contact below.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you have the right to ask us:
- What information we hold about you
- To correct it if it is wrong
- To delete it
- To stop a particular use
- To send a copy to you in a portable form
- To withdraw consent for anything you previously agreed to
Email [email protected] to make any of these requests, and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with how we respond, you can contact the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the surface small (a static marketing site, not a database of customer records) and we use vetted providers for the parts we do not run ourselves.
Changes
We will update this page if our data practices change. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be flagged at the top of the page for a reasonable period.
